Operation Policy

1. General Principles

(1) This Operation Policy is the provision of general principles of service operation in order to cope with potential problems that may occur while operating the service, THE CUBE, SAVE US ("Game"). This Operation Policy contains the service standards provided by the Company and the contents that users must observe while using the service.

(2) The Operation Policy is agreed to by users during the character creation process required to use the service, and takes effect from the moment the character is created.

(3) The Company provides its service in accordance with the Operation Policy. Failure to comply with this policy may result in service disruptions, so please read it carefully.

(4) Matters not mentioned in the Operation Policy may be coordinated through the Terms of Service, the purpose of this Operation Policy, social norms and general sentiment, and relevant laws and regulations.

(5) The Operation Policy aims to provide the best possible solution for resolving in-game service issues. The Company reserves the right to modify and implement the Operation Policy at any time to enhance service quality. Any changes to the Operation Policy will be posted on the game homepage or announced via linked screens. We kindly request your continued interest and feedback.

2. User Rights and Obligations

2.1. User Rights

(1) Users can inquire about problems that arise while using the game service and receive guidance on how to resolve them through our Customer Support (https://help.rebotspro.com/thecube).

(2) If a user experiences harm caused by another user's actions that violate our Operation Policy while using the service, they may report it through Customer Support and request enforcement of our Operation Policy.

2.2 User Obligations

(1) Users must report to the Company any bugs, game system errors, or other issues found while using the service. They must not share such issues with other users or exploit them. If a user fails to report bugs or system errors after they occur and attempt to profit from them, they will be deemed to have harmed other users and may be subject to service restrictions pursuant to the Terms of Service and the Operation Policy.

(2) If a user enters false information or misuses another person's information, their service use may be restricted. Furthermore, they cannot claim protection of their rights in such cases.

(3) Users may be subject to service restrictions if they violate any of the provisions specified in Section 7.3 and Table 10-1 (Service Restrictions).

(4) As this is an online game where many users connect and play simultaneously, a user must respect the rights of other users. Furthermore, they must familiarize themselves with the Operation Policy. The Company cannot provide assistance with any problems or damages arising from noncompliance with the Operation Policy.

3. Obligations and Responsibilities of the Game Master

(1) The Game Master is committed to helping users enjoy seamless gameplay and in-game enjoyment.

(2) The Game Master shall respond to or process inquiries and requests received through channels available to users with sincerity.

(3) To ensure stable service, the Game Master strives to promptly resolve service issues and respond accordingly. If any service-related issues arise, please report them to the Game Master immediately.

(4) The Game Master does not intervene in disputes between users within the game. However, if violations of the Terms of Service or the Operation Policy are confirmed, or if actions that violate the game's public morals are identified, the Game Master may intervene in accordance with the Operation Policy.

(5) The Game Master never requests personal information such as passwords from users within the game.

4. Account Management

(1) Users must manage their own accounts. Furthermore, users bear primary responsibility for their accounts. The Company may be unable to assist with issues arising from a user's own negligence or carelessness.

(2) Sharing accounts with others or attempting to trade accounts, characters, or items for cash or other valuables may result in the user's access being restricted without warning. Furthermore, users are solely responsible for any issues arising from account sharing or cash/in-kind trading.

(3) Users must not infringe on the personal information of others. Such acts violate the Terms of Service and Operation Policy, as well as the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations, and may be subject to criminal punishment.

(4) The Company manages users' personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and does not disclose such information to any third party except with the user's consent or when required by applicable laws and regulations. However, the Company may provide user information to public institutions in response to requests for cooperation in investigations or court orders.

5. Restoration Policy

(1) If game data such as characters or items is lost or information is altered due to the Company's fault (including technical errors), restoration is possible to the extent that details and information can be verified through the data.

(2) Users must submit a restoration request via 1:1 inquiry within 7 days of the issue occurring for restoration to be possible.

(3) Restoration assistance will not be provided in the following cases:

  • If 7 days have passed since the day the problem occurred;
  • If the issue was reported using a proxy character instead of the character that experienced the problem;
  • If the issue resulted from the user's own negligence or failure to understand the contents specified in the Operation Policy or announced in notices;
  • If the damage resulted from the user's normal use of the game service or content;
  • If the damage resulted from hacking or financial crimes due to the user's own negligence. However, to prevent further damage, the perpetrator's account may be investigated, and service restrictions or additional measures may be taken based on the restriction criteria;
  • If the damage does not exist within the game or cannot be objectively verified through data;
  • If the user voluntarily terminated their account through the proper procedures and process;
  • Other reasons falling under the "Company Indemnification" clause specified in the Company's End-User License Agreement or Terms of Service.

(4) The Company may modify the service (including modifying, changing, or deleting characters, items, and content information) as necessary for operational, technical, or balance reasons to ensure smooth game service provision. The Company will notify users of such changes within the game prior to implementation.

*However, in cases where changes are unavoidably necessary—such as bug fixes, error corrections, or emergency updates—or where the changes do not constitute major alterations, or in unavoidable circumstances like server hardware failures or urgent security issues, we may provide notice after the fact. No separate restoration will be performed for such cases.

6. Name Policy

(1) "Name" refers to all designations selected by the user within the game, including nicknames and guild names. Users must not create names that match or resemble the following:

  • Names that defame or disparage a specific race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, person, disability, etc.;
  • Names that defame the Company, its employees, or its services;
  • Names that could confuse other users into thinking you are a company employee;
  • Names containing profanity or excessive vulgarity;
  • Names with sexually suggestive or obscene content;
  • Names showing antisocial tendencies;
  • Names that infringe upon the trademarks or copyrights of the Company or other person;
  • Names that are deemed to have the intention of trading accounts/characters/items for cash/in-kind;
  • Names that advertise/promote a specific subject;
  • Names that violate relevant laws and regulations;
  • Names created by combining characters with those listed above, either by adding or replacing letters.

(2) Names falling under any of the items listed in (1) above may be changed or deleted without prior warning.

(3) Once a name is set, it cannot be changed or reset. Please choose carefully. However, in cases falling under (1) above, it may be changed or deleted for operational reasons.

7. Exploitation of System/Bugs

(1) Exploiting system/bugs refers to the intentional and repeated act of unfairly gaining advantages by using errors in the game or service, or causing adverse effects on the in-game systems and other users.

  • Actions that gain benefits by exploiting game or service errors and affect the in-game economic system;
  • Actions that cause significant harm to other users by exploiting game or service errors;
  • Actions that affect game balance or systems by exploiting in-game errors.

(2) Users must not intentionally exploit system bugs or issues, nor share them with other users. Exploiting bugs is not merely individual play; it is a serious disruption of content that harms all other users. Please promptly report any bugs or issues you discover to the game's Customer Support (https://help.rebotspro.com/thecube) via 1:1 inquiries or other means.

(3) Exploiting or sharing system bugs or issues may result in service restrictions without prior warning.

8. Account Theft

(1) Account theft refers to any act of accessing another person's account without permission and causing harm to the account information (including email address and contents, account details, characters, items, and in-game currency). This also includes acts of aiding or profiting from such theft.

(2) Account theft violates relevant laws and regulations. The Company assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any civil or criminal actions that may arise for users as a result. Furthermore, if unauthorized use of another person's personal information is confirmed, access to the game service may be restricted.

(3) Users must use their own personal information to play the game. Accounts created using a third party's personal information or false personal information cannot assert any rights against the Company under any circumstances and may be subject to criminal penalties under relevant laws and regulations.

(4) Damage incurred after providing account information or passwords for the purpose of sharing, exchanging, or trading accounts will not be recognized as damage caused by account theft and will not be eligible for assistance from the Company.

(5) If you suspect account theft or have suffered damages due to account theft, please immediately change your account password and report the incident to our "Customer Support" within 15 days of the problem occurring.

(6) If your service access is restricted due to suspected account theft and you believe it is unrelated to actual theft, you may file an appeal with "Customer Support" within 7 days.

9. Malicious User Policy

Please note that any actions that cause harm to other users and the service through gameplay, such as the following, may result in service restrictions, with increased penalties for repeats.

9-1. Cash/In-kind Transactions

(1) This refers to any act of trading or attempting to trade in-game items, game currency, accounts, characters, items sold in the UI store, event coupons, etc., for non-game-provided compensation.

(2) Trading items sold in the UI store, event coupons, etc., for other items or game currency through the gifting system also constitutes cash/in-kind trading. Transactions conducted through methods permitted by the game system are excluded.

(3) Cash/in-kind trading for in-game items, characters, etc., severely undermines the game and may cause a sense of relative deprivation among the majority of users who play normally. Therefore, users who engage in cash/in-kind trading within the game will have their service access restricted temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity of the violation of our Operation Policy.

9-2. In-Game Fraud

Intentionally deceiving other users within the game to cause damage to items or game information disrupts game order and may inflict unfair harm on targeted users. As such, perpetrators will be restricted in accordance with our Operation Policy.

9-3. Use of Illegal Programs

This refers to actions that negatively impact the game, disrupt balance, or overload servers by using programs not authorized by the Company. Such actions adversely affect the game order, and using, utilizing, participating in, or encouraging them may result in service restrictions. Furthermore, restrictions may also apply if it is clearly confirmed that the user has created or provided an environment for such actions, or participated in obtaining or transferring related items and in-game currency.

9-4. Spamming/Profanity

Posting repetitive messages in the chat window within a short period to disrupt other users' chat experience, using profanity or vulgar language, or engaging in behavior that causes discomfort to others—such actions, including words or conduct generally considered socially unacceptable within the game, may result in service restrictions.

9-5. Encouraging Gambling in the Game

This refers to the act of placing items or other assets at stake and providing financial gain to specific individuals based on random outcomes, thereby causing losses to other participants. Promoting gambling within the game is restricted according to our Operation Policy and may also be subject to severe legal penalties under the Game Industry Promotion Act.

9-6. Operation Disruption

(1) This refers to acts that intentionally disrupt the game's operation by causing disruption, such as falsely reporting inaccurate information about other users to the Game Master, or repeatedly violating the service restriction criteria outlined in Article 10 (Usage Restrictions Policy) of this Operation Policy 3 or more times. It also includes intentionally or repeatedly using game content not publicly disclosed by the Company, or sharing such content with others. Intentional acts of disrupting operations can harm other users who need assistance.

(2) Any act of impersonating the Game Master or the Company is deemed both highly damaging and intentional. A single instance of such acts, therefore, may result in service restrictions.

10. Usage Restrictions Policy

The Game Master respects users' own gaming culture and does not unnecessarily interfere with their service use or game progress. However, if a user violates the Operation Policy or causes harm to other users, the Game Master will strive to resolve the issue without delay.

※ Escalated Enforcement Measures

Violating this Usage Restrictions Policy 3 or more times may be deemed as operational disruption, resulting in increased restrictions beyond the 3rd-level restriction. Furthermore, the Game Master may, based on social norms and objective judgment, apply the restriction for a 2nd-time violation or greater as an initial measure to prevent harm to other users and maintain sound game service.

※ The Company may issue warnings and monitor users who are judged to be gravely disrupting the order and balance of the game through persistent disruptive or interfering behaviors.

※ In relation to violations of the Operation Policy, the Company may internally collect related records (in-game records, screenshots, videos).

※ Warning refers to a message from the Game Manager, such as a chat ban, forced game termination, or other behavior restrictions.

※ The Company shall not be held liable for any inability to access the game or loss of data resulting from service restrictions.

※ "Service restrictions" refer to limitations on the use of this game service.

※ If items are obtained through violations of the Terms of Service or the Operation Policy, the Company may seize the relevant items and all quantifiable information associated with the character. Furthermore, the character that acquired the items and information may be subject to restrictions in accordance with the Operation Policy.

Ex. Fraud, illegal programs, cash transactions, account theft, etc.

※ Restrictions on Certain Related Service Features

If a user's actions reasonably raise suspicion of violating our Operation Policy, or if such actions are deemed to adversely affect the game service or others by violating social norms or relevant laws and regulations, the Company may restrict the user's access to certain related features within the service until the issue is resolved. This restriction is separate from any game play limitations and will be implemented after prior notification to the user.

Ex. Related features such as stores, auction houses, and mail transactions will be restricted for characters involved in acquiring or transferring currencies, items or information related to fraud, account theft, bug exploitation, payment theft, abuse, illegal programs, cash transactions, etc.

※ If action is required in accordance with our Operation Policy, measures such as disconnecting access or imposing temporary usage restrictions may be implemented.

Ex. When taking measures to change an inappropriate name, the action will proceed after terminating the connection. Ex. When taking measures to recover unjust profits, the action will proceed after terminating the connection or imposing a temporary usage restriction.

11. Operation Policy for Protecting the Rights of Customer Support Representatives

(1) Acts that infringe upon the human rights of our representatives and interfere with their work include the following:

  • Engaging in 1:1 inquiries that include direct or indirect verbal abuse, sexual harassment, or derogatory remarks toward the Customer Support representative;
  • Submitting 1:1 irrelevant inquiries or using language that could cause psychological harm to the representative.

(2) Any infringement upon the representative's rights through 1:1 inquiries or similar channels may be subject to restrictions in accordance with our Operation Policy.

※ If the level of human rights violations against our representatives is deemed severe, consultations may be restricted without prior warning.
